Portrait Parties
Add
a creative
twist to your
next social gathering with this unique approach to studio
portraits! Many themes, props and backgrounds are available
for these special on-location portrait sessions. Families,
Friends, Couples, Children, and Pets are all welcome!
As the
Party Hostess, you will meet with Photographer Ellie Nighman and
discuss choices of location
and backgrounds. After preparing a guest list, invitations
will be sent describing the party and offering an overview of the
ordering process. Guests can be scheduled for sessions every
20 minutes or they can be photographed at any time during the
Party. If the Party is to be held indoors, a 12'x12' space
will be necessary for assembling studio equipment. Hostesses
are responsible for refreshments - be as simple or elaborate as you
wish!
No payment is due the day of the Party and there
is
absolutely no sales pressure! Within 48 hours,
Families will view their proofs online (or receive printed proofs via
mail, in desired) and have two weeks to place their orders by
mail. Orders will be sent back to Families upon completion,
usually within two weeks of receipt. After all orders have
been collected, the Hostess will receive credits to place her own
Portrait order!
Benefits:
Hostesses
receive a credit for every $20 in sales
generated by their
Party. As an example, an 8 Family Party, with an average
order of $40 per Family, would earn the Hostess 16 Credits!
Credits can be redeemed for:
1 Credit= 1-5x7,
or 8-Wallets,
or 2-4x5
2 Credits= 1-8x10
5 Credits=
1-11x14,
or 1-10x13
or 28 Greeting Cards w/Envelopes
8 Credits= 1-16x20
In
addition to
credits, Hostesses are entitled to 20% off any additional Portraits
they wish to order!
